My Baby update...

So today I am officially 36 weeks pregnant... Can you believe that! Most twins deliver earlier then this! And to make you feel just a little bit sorry for me... these babies are the BIGGEST twins you could ever imagine... A few days ago I got a weight on these little angels... and they weigh a whopping 6 lbs and 6.5 lbs... My doctor said that we need to return the premie sized clothes... LOL!!! And I still have 4 weeks left! At my rate I will deliver 8 lb twins. That is 16 pounds of baby in my belly! I never knew I had that much room in there!

So if you could see me you would see that my stomache sticks out about a mile past my back... and I bump into everything with this thing, I can't see my feet, and I have grown accustom to the back pain that I feel regularly... I can't imagine life without it!!! If I am on the floor I can't get up on my own and need help... I can barely tie my shoe and shaving your legs.. LOL just not happening!

My dog has begun to act funny. I really dislike her right now. Arrgh! She broke my baby yesterday. Let me explain...

My husband and I had dinner last night at a friends house and left our mutt unattended for the first time alone in the house. She went on a rampage. Pulled my garbage can from atop my washing machine, tore open my dryer sheets, destroyed my closet and ate my brand new pair of pajamas I had just bought to take to the hospital. Then somehow she managed to get on top of my kitchen counter where my Nikon D80 set on the island and pulled it down from the countertop. After she dragged it through out the house and chewed on my extended battery grip she then licked my sigma lens until it was saturated in her saliva. When I got home I find my camera laying on the floor and my heart just sunk... and here comes my dog wagging her tail and jumping up on me as if she had done nothing wrong...

After further researching the damage on my camera I found that my Sigma lens no longer will zoom in and out and when you shake the lens it makes a lovely sound like metal or a spring just moving around inside... Somehow my dog (my dead dog) (just kidding) broke my favorite lens and now it no longer zooms in and out. So tomorrow I will have to call the local camera store and see if this can be repaired.

My mom assures me she is trying to get my attention because I am about to go into labor and dogs sense stuff like this... I hope she is right because if something like this happens again... this little mutt of mine will be visiting Craigslist... LOL! THe joys of owning a puppy... sometimes I think they are worse then kids! :D I know one day I will look back at this and laugh... but for now... just looking at her with those big puppy dog eyes it just makes me want to strangle her... if only she knew that she broke my baby... my favorite lens... my camera. . My kids no better not to touch or they may lose a hand... but I guess my dog thinks that this was her chew toy... :(

Week 42 - “Halloween Dress-Up” Photo Challenge

This week at http://www.iheartfaces.com/ the theme is Halloween Dress Up.

I just got my computer up and running last night so I probably won't have time to take any new photos for this theme, but I immediately thought of this photo taken of my niece two years ago. It was her first Halloween and my sister dressed her up as a kitten! She has the most beautiful blue eyes and I just love how she is staring right at me in this photo! This has always been one of my favorite pictures of her!

I hope everyone has a safe Halloween on Saturday and gets lots and lots of chocolate!

Up and running

No not me.... my computer! I wish I could run... but my belly would knock me over!

Still pregnant... feel fat.... ready to get back into my size 3 jeans... that will probably never fit again... We'll see!

Anyways this is short and sweet... My lovely children play those free online games and downloaded a nice virus that killed my 7 year old dell desktop... I mean erased my network card, corrupted the hard drive and deleted a lot of software and corrupted many files! It was so much fun to hire someone to spend hours and hours reconfigurating my corrupted data so that we could transfer it to a new computer!

So my new computer finally arrived today. It is wonderful... perfect.... it is the best day of my life! I cannot imagine life without a computer... I never want to go through another week without internet... EVER!!

Would you consider this artwork? :D

I have always wanted to do this... and finally this "thing" is big enough to paint! You can't miss it... it can be called "Ginormica" Like on Monsters Vs. Aliens. :D

My kids had soooo much fun! This little 10 minute MESSY event was the highlight of there day.... and yes it was very, VERY messy...

Lesson # One... do it in the summer on the porch... not on your carpet in your living room with a 2 year old, a 4 year old, a 6 year old and a 8 year old...

BUT don't worry ALL THE PAINT CAME OFF THE CARPET, AND MY BELLY, AND MY CLOTHES... AND MY KIDS! :D

So only about 4 weeks left ... I don't think my belly could possibly get any bigger.... but it does.... and it won't stop! :D I have officially moved into my husband's closet... When you go from Size 3 jeans to Size Medium Maternity in less then a year... it is a little overwhelming!

Here we are getting started... The paint was cold! I should have warmed it up!
Oh they had no problem slapping on lots of colors!
I think they enjoyed this! What do you think?
Oh my... is that Madison painting my coffee table?
Ooops... I got paint on my arm!
They decided to get cup lids of paint and pour it on my belly... this is when it got really messy
now lets rub it in

LOL! This was just too funny

Madison got paint on her face... and her hair... and her belly
but not as much paint as I had all over me
Ryan gave me a belly massage with the paint
and last but not least... hand prints on my carpet from kids falling with paint on their hand. Thankfully I own a steam cleaner... because it was on my couches and my carpet by the time we were done!

WEEK 40 - October 12th - "Excited!"

This week's theme at iheartfaces is EXCITED, ANIMATED, ENTHUSIASTIC!

So I was going through some of my old photos and I happened to find this one! I am not sure if it is a winner... as it is a little scary! LOL!! BUT It made me laugh... and my sister too who was over my shoulder.... and it did bring back some old memories of Ryan and his crazy faces! Ryan is so full of personality... you never know what he will do next. This one I told him to show me his muscles.... and look at the muscles... and the expression! PRICELESS!!! And in case you care... this photo has only been sharpened and cropped so those eyes are ALL NATURAL! :D

I definitely think this one fits the category at least! He definitely looks animated!!!

Being on bed rest has it's perks!

So while being on bed rest... I have to make a confession.... I am already done with my Christmas Shopping.... My husband was cleaning out the garage and he found my stash hidden in totes. He asked me where it all came from... I said don't worry hunny it was all on sale! :D LOL! No but really I have done lots of online shopping and found the best prices on things and got my kids all that I wanted for them... on the budget that was given to me... (Plus or minus a few dollars!)

but to be honest... I don't recommend bed rest just for shopping purposes... it is quite boring... and sometimes a little more stressful then living your normal life as now you have another person who is helping you out at your house and doesn't do things "Your Way!"

On another plus side though... not cleaning the house all the time gives me more time to spend with the wee - ones... and Ryan has come so far in pre-school. I underestimate that kid sometimes... but he is so incredibly smart and talented! I know this is so lame but he writes with his pencil CORRECTLY!!! No fist writing... he holds it like a big boy! :D Here are some quick shots of him during our first day of preschool.

This is him fist writing. BUT NOW HE CAN DO IT CORRECTLY! I will get some pictures of him later. But for now this is all I have.

My pretty baby and those pretty blue's!

My daughter was extra cute today... and I really missed my camera... so I really had to get some pictures of her! Look at those gorgeous blue eyes! :D

My family is doing well! I know I haven't blogged in almost a month now but we are all doing so good. We are doing some family restructuring right now! My oldest son took up a new hobby of lieing so we are trying to get that straightened out.

Ryan is actually doing really well and I am so proud of him! Except for the occasional "If I have to ask you one more time to pick this up..." He is doing so good and loves preschool at home.

Madison learned how to throw some SERIOUS tantrums and fits so we have been trying to fix that also. But I know a lot is due to me not being able to be a full time mommy and also with Josh being out of town so much our lives are a little hectic. My poor sister became insta mom of 4 kids! But she is doing pretty good considering. I think we had a few stressful days here and there but I am just thankful that she is able to come over everyday and help out with the kids.

Anyways I hope EVERYONE is doing well! I am ordering my new computer tomorrow! I found one that I love! I researched and researched and researched... what else was I to do! I can't do a whole lot so I shopped online! And found a SCREAMING deal on a laptop. It is a 1080p resolution monitor with a 18.4" monitor, super fast and lots of storage, blue ray player, bluetooth and the whole nine yards for less then $950.00....I think I shopped for over 4 hours online! This will be the PERFECT photo editing computer!

So anyways thanks to all those who gave me advice! I appreciate it!

I'm so cute! I know it! Look at my new bows! They are almost as pretty as me. Oh and these are SOOC... Can you believe that! Indoor (and this house has terrible lighting)... no flash... I am totally in love with this f1.4 50mm lens! It's a must have lens!
My puppy dog... I'm so innocent until I pitch a fit look! :D

The Great Laptop Debate

I am so close to being done being pregnant! Only 6 weeks left! How exciting and how amazing for my friends. I just can't believe I get to be a part of all this! It is truly and unique experience....

So I told my husband that I wanted a laptop for Christmas (as mine died almost a year ago) and I loved photo editing from it. I loved taking it to the park while my kids played and I could work on company stuff or photography... But now I am stuck to an old fashioned desktop!

I recently owned a 17" Toshiba Satellite Laptop which I loved until it quit working 1 month after the 1-year warranty. Now it is just a really nice paper weight... I mean really nice paperweight.... a $1700 paperweight... piece of junk!!!! Still angry about this can you tell!!! :D

SOOOOO..... now I am in the market for a laptop. My goal is to have one in my hands before delivering these babies so I can bring it with me to the hospital. I will have a scheduled C-Section... my first one... and a little scary... which means I will be in the hospital for 3-4 days... It will be a great time to do some blogging!!! :D And I know how much everyone misses me soooo I really need some advice here!

Any recommendations? And if so why? I appreciate any and ALL advice! I found one I really like but don't want to end up with a clunker... I don't think the government will be giving me any rebates on my laptop clunker anytime soon so this will need to last a little longer then a year! LOL!!
