I am just now getting to my photos. I cannot believe I didn't capture more then this! I guess I was so busy focusing on my coffee and not falling asleep I found no motivation to take more photos. I was pretty exhausted by the time we celebrated Christmas. All the preparations wore me out plus Madison's constantly asking me a million questions about Elf on the Shelf, Santa and all her gifts she made for her classmates, teachers, friends, and family :) The girl has a heart of gold but she can wear you out :P
We had a small and quiet Christmas this year! Katie got a doll and a baby stroller, a vacuum like mommies and a broom so we can start her early on cleaning the house :)
Madison got a karaoke machine. She loves to dance and sing and thought this would be fun for her to do and put on shows for us.
Ryan got a Zombie Airsoft Pellet Gun with a target range and a brand new PS3 Lego Batman Game which he was really excited about.
Jacob got a new mini Fender Squire electric guitar. He has been teaching himself to play on a bigger adult sized guitar so this will be much easier for him to learn on.
Josh and I got each other nothing. LOL! It's kind of Christmas tradition we would rather spoil the kids. But we did spoil each other with a good home cooked meal. Josh smoked my favorite food and made a Brisket and I made a spinach walnut salad and potatoes and for dessert I made a chocolate pudding cake for each of the kids to have their own. It was such a good Christmas. Hot fire, hot coffee, Cocoa, Christmas music, happy kids, home cooked meal, and just us for once and being able to relax and not be on the go visiting everyone on Christmas.

Salmon - Peach- Pink Orange Wall GONE!!!
Josh and I debated on the actual color of this wall. I think it changed depending on the time of day it was in the house because sometimes it was orange, sometimes it was salmon but I have to ask what were the previous tenants thinking when they did this?!?
The truth is I don't think it was a color that should have ever existed on any wall PERIOD! It was hideous and it haunts us in our hall bath still (another project to be done down the road along with a lavender purple master bedroom?!?). With that in mind regardless of whether it was orange, pink, salmon or peach it is now just a plain and simple white wall that any future tenants can enjoy.

Thanksgiving in Boise
I loved being able to visit Boise for a short time and seeing all my family! Makes you feel so lucky to have them around you when you no longer get to see them regularly. We had a great time and got to visit with both sides of the family and enjoy to wonderful meals :)
Daddy and his Girls and the beginning of potty training with Katie
I love the little moments daddy has with his girls. They adore him. He is such a good daddy and they are so lucky to have him as their father. We also began potty training! It sure does look like fun today... but the journey has proved to be otherwise. For two months we are still trying to get Katie to be fully potty trained but with no end in sight we continue to stay on her.
Halloween Party at Moscow Elementary!
I am so behind on blogging! :P But I am slowly catching up. When we first moved here we got to attend a Halloween Party at Moscow Charter. It was a fun event for the kids because anything that gives you candy, games and lets you dress up is always fun for the children! :)

Kindergarten Christmas Party - Australian BBQ themed
What a swimsuit in the winter?!?!? Well maybe in Australia but not here in Idaho... unless you go to Moscow Charter School and can hop on a plane complete with a movie and a passport and then you can pretend to be on the beach :)
The kids had a blast and I was so glad to be there to see Madison enjoy her party. It was complete with Christmas music and then the 5th graders came in and gave surprise gifts to the children!!! It was a perfect day and ended it with a gift exchange which Madison got a Barbie doll. She is so excited for Christmas :)
