My Baby update...

So today I am officially 36 weeks pregnant... Can you believe that! Most twins deliver earlier then this! And to make you feel just a little bit sorry for me... these babies are the BIGGEST twins you could ever imagine... A few days ago I got a weight on these little angels... and they weigh a whopping 6 lbs and 6.5 lbs... My doctor said that we need to return the premie sized clothes... LOL!!! And I still have 4 weeks left! At my rate I will deliver 8 lb twins. That is 16 pounds of baby in my belly! I never knew I had that much room in there!

So if you could see me you would see that my stomache sticks out about a mile past my back... and I bump into everything with this thing, I can't see my feet, and I have grown accustom to the back pain that I feel regularly... I can't imagine life without it!!! If I am on the floor I can't get up on my own and need help... I can barely tie my shoe and shaving your legs.. LOL just not happening!

My dog has begun to act funny. I really dislike her right now. Arrgh! She broke my baby yesterday. Let me explain...

My husband and I had dinner last night at a friends house and left our mutt unattended for the first time alone in the house. She went on a rampage. Pulled my garbage can from atop my washing machine, tore open my dryer sheets, destroyed my closet and ate my brand new pair of pajamas I had just bought to take to the hospital. Then somehow she managed to get on top of my kitchen counter where my Nikon D80 set on the island and pulled it down from the countertop. After she dragged it through out the house and chewed on my extended battery grip she then licked my sigma lens until it was saturated in her saliva. When I got home I find my camera laying on the floor and my heart just sunk... and here comes my dog wagging her tail and jumping up on me as if she had done nothing wrong...

After further researching the damage on my camera I found that my Sigma lens no longer will zoom in and out and when you shake the lens it makes a lovely sound like metal or a spring just moving around inside... Somehow my dog (my dead dog) (just kidding) broke my favorite lens and now it no longer zooms in and out. So tomorrow I will have to call the local camera store and see if this can be repaired.

My mom assures me she is trying to get my attention because I am about to go into labor and dogs sense stuff like this... I hope she is right because if something like this happens again... this little mutt of mine will be visiting Craigslist... LOL! THe joys of owning a puppy... sometimes I think they are worse then kids! :D I know one day I will look back at this and laugh... but for now... just looking at her with those big puppy dog eyes it just makes me want to strangle her... if only she knew that she broke my baby... my favorite lens... my camera. . My kids no better not to touch or they may lose a hand... but I guess my dog thinks that this was her chew toy... :(

I found you via Julie Rivera's blog. Just wanted to say that I think what you are doing for your friends is so admirable and courageous. I hope you dont have to go all the way to 40 weeks, that would be insane! I'm 18 weeks with my third and hear your pain loud and clear. I am in awe of your spirit and your gift of life, it is so incredibly beautiful and inspiring!

I read this yesterday and my heart just sank for you...one, because the twins you are carrying are SO big and two, because of your camera. Those babies better stay put until you can get your lens repaired so you are ready to take pictures. :)

My cat has started acting oddly, laying on my belly if I am seated on the sofa, and I have to believe animals have a 6th sense about when women are going to go into labor. I am so desperate, I am taking cues from my cat! :)

Hope the camera repair is an easy one and you are as comfortable as possible with those healthy babies inside of you!

Just wanted to let you know that Jessica Sprague is having another free class. It's a holiday edition so I think it will be fun. I know you will probably be to busy/sore/tired or all of the above but the lessons are there permanently if you sign up.

Hi

The pregnancy is going well so far. I haven't had too many sypmtoms, just a few weeks of nausea. I do have pretty bad back pain but other than that I'm great. I am almost 15 weeks now so I'm in the fun stage lol. We have been telling Taylor things but she really doesn'y get it. I told her I had a baby in my belly and she lifted up my shirt and looked for a baby lol! Maybe once my belly starts getting noticably bigger she will start to wonder.

I hope you will get to deliver the babies soon. I can't imagine how it must be to be carrying 2! Your friends are so lucjky to have you.
