True Story Tuesday - Just for Fun!

I am actually not a participant of True Story Tuesday but I remembered that many others are and I totally have a funny story to share... I should join that site amongst a million other things, but one day at a time right now for me! Been busy with so much stuff lately!

So last night my son Ryan and I were in the living room playing "I Spy." It was his turn and first thing he does is look directly at the object, then continues to say I Spy something regtangle and it is a window.

Laughing to myself I look at him and said "Is it the window?"

And his eyes shot up HUGE, with a BIG grin on his face and said YES! How did you know so fast!

I just smiled and said lucky guess.... and said to myself... I will let him think I am a super mom... :D

I will end with a picture of my fat cat who lounges in front of this fireplace every night. There are times I wake up and he is flat on his back with his legs in the air. Such a silly cat! These were seriously taken in the middle of the night and the only light came from the fireplace. No tripod just layed camera on the ground and took a picture (Dea maybe the remote would have worked for this picture!) Anyways I used my cheapo 50mm which I am just in love with these last couple of weeks!

So do you like the black and white or the color better? Kind of torn on this!

My pets are the best!!!

As I was enjoying my morning coffee on my couch I see my dog sitting on our patio chair with puppy dog eyes saying... "LET ME IN!!!" It is snowing here today in Boise so she was cold... poor thing!!! And here is the cat... just chillin by the window... probably laughing cause the dog is outside and he is in a nice warm house!  (PS The pictures were taken through the blinds... which would explain the verticle lines!!!)

My Two Little Cuties... and the Cat

These were taken yesterday right after I put my new bed spread on the bed. (The old one was ruined thanks to my great washing machine skills... I shouldn't ignore the "Dry Clean Only" sign.... Lesson learned!!

So anyways back to the cuties. The girls... as adorable as they are thought that making a bed meant that they could jump on it. After asking them numerous times to quit throwing my pillows on the ground... Olivia got an idea in her head to do "Picture Time"

I am always up for that... so this is what we got. The girls were happy to be my lil models... and even the Cat joined in for a shot...

Skeeter was Exceptionally Adorable this Week!

So our new cat is hilarious... He is extremely curious and is into everything! I caught him in my daughters doll stroller today... so of course she started pushing him around. It was so adorable. I quickly grab my camera as quick as I could before he jumped out and thankfully he didn't. After about 5 minutes he finally got out and Madison was so upset. She tried to get him back in... but he wouldn't have it and run under the bed where he is safe from kids and dogs. LOL...!

Here I am laying on the ground. I new the cat was on the other side laying on the cushions. I started scratching the couch to see what he would do and he peeked over to see what the noise was. He looks so goofy in this picture!

He loves to play in my blinds too.

Just imagine me laying on the ground while my cat is on the couch... uncomfortable and trying to get a picture. To get his attention I had to scratch the couch... here is a picture of him trying to attack my hand.

Meet Skeeter

Wow has so much happened in the last week! I have so much blogging to do! So in one week Josh and I celebrated a birthday, an anniversary, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, skiing, a new kitten and sadly Josh's mother passed away 10 years ago this week too so it has been a very eventful week! I will be posting a lot of pictures soon but I felt Skeeter deserved his own special blog post!

We rescued this kitty from going to the pound. He came from a loving family who could no longer care for him due to changes in their life. He is 4 years old and is so sweet and so adorable! So far my biggest complaint is he likes the kitchen counters (ugh!) and cleaning the litter box! But other then that he loves our family and loves to sit in our laps while we are sitting on the couch in the mornings drinking our coffee! He will NOT let you forget to feed him and will follow you around constantly and meow at you until you do! So funny!
