Oh The Joys of Rough and Tumblin Boys!

Let me share another story with you from this weekend. My kids and I met up at a park in Boise after a photo session I was done with. It was beautiful outside and a great day for the park! FINALLY! Sorry Taylor I know you are still enjoying cold weather! :(

So I am actually on the other end of this park trying to multi task and keep my eye on my little two year old and four year old who enjoy playing in seperate areas... I think they enjoy moms grey hair from all the worrying they cause me! And on top of that I also have to keep an eye on my 6 year old. This park may look beautiful (and it is) but it also homes a lot of homeless people so I try to keep my eye on my kids cause I would never forgive myself if something happened to them because of my negligence.

So my son was playing catch with another boy about his age. And it was hilarious. The first one is him throwing the football to the other boy. The second shot was taken a few minutes later and my sons shoe fell off as I took the picture and the football flew out of his hand! So funny. So at this moment they are just having innocent fun!

So now I see them playing together so well and then I turn to look for the other two running around in the park and then I locate Jake again to get some more pictures of him playing and I see this... which I thought was still adorable! At this moment they are fighting over the football and playing and laughing.

Now you know the old saying... It is all fun and games until someone gets hurt! And you never understand cause when you are a kid... everything is a game and there are no concequences until it is too late!
So my son aquired the football.... threw it and then fell backward kicking this little boy in the face... oh did I mention he is wearing heely's! Those shoes are heavy and probably hurt a lot when he was kicked in the face. The boy went running to his grandparents crying. The last picture is of my son wondering what happened.... Me too cause at that moment I thought maybe he was more mad that Jacob got the football.... boy was I wrong
This little boy had a pretty good bloody nose. The grandparents couldn't get it to stop bleeding so they had to leave... I felt awful, and slightly embarrassed and so we left too..... Oh the joys of boys. Will they ever learn?

Poor little guy! I bet your poor Jacob felt bad too. Atleast they had fun for a while.

Today was a great day outside too but definitely not "no jacket" worthy.

Boys are so much fun! I bet Jacob felt badly about what happened. The thing I love about boys though is that they recover so quickly : ) They seem less dramatic!
