Okay so you are probably wondering why I am posting this... and no it wasn't in my backyard... but it was right next door to my house and my children play with their children... I would NEVER have suspected this as they are really nice people and I talk to them frequently... I just saw this on the news and almost had a heart attack... What a week I have had!
So the lesson I learned today:
Take a peek over your fence once in a while to find out what is happening next door
and for your information in case you wondered....
Unfortunately my children will not be able to go to the neighbors house anymore.... how do you explain that to a 4 and 6 year old! I mean really how do you tell them that!

Wow thats crazy, as well as slightly funny. lol. Bet youve had quite the excitment lately.
I have no clue how you would explain that! Maybe you don't.... Maybe you just need to find them some new friends, and encourage that relationship by getting together lots, etc, and then maybe they'll be so busy with the new friends they won't miss the neighbors too much....
That's pretty creepy though!
That is scary! Before we had kids, we found the house right across the street from us was a Meth lab and they tore the house down to rebuild it. Had no idea...
Tell your kids they need Jesus. Although, if I said that, Little Man would go over there with his Bible and tell them about Jesus' love. (I think he will be a preacher one day)
Oh my goodness! That is crazy! I'm not sure how to tell them. Maybe just keep it simple and say that their Mom & Dad did some things that you don't agree with and could put them in harms way and it is better not to play with them anymore. Goodluck with it.
Ya know really those kiddos never asked to be brought up in that kind of household...if they seem like truly good kids maybe they can just play together at your house only...maybe. Maybe your children can be a good influence to them and you could be a good witness to them.
Oh, this made me sad. Sad on lots of levels.
OMGosh!!!!! Very scary, I'm going to peek into my neighbors fence tonight!! Crazyness!!
