To answer your questions I just got the sony a700 camera. I can still use all of my lenses with it and I love it. I can notice such a huge difference in speed with it. As to where I live. I actually live in a fair sized city with over 200,000 people but I live in a new subdivision so it looks like I live in the country in the pictures LOL. The rules in our city are if you are a land developer you either have to dedicate a certain amount of land for park space or you have to pay big bucks to bypass that. Most developers go with the green space option so we have some pretty nice parks around, which is nice.
