This picture was taken about 1 month ago at the Boise Zoo during my son's kindergarten field trip. The tiger was laying right next to the viewing area and I was able to get this great picture of her through the glass. I love this photo! It makes me want to cuddle with her because she looks so sweet and loveable! (LOL)
and for the kids catgory the theme was Birthday. I am entering in my daughter (surprise!) as always because she is my most photogenic and cooperative of all the kids! This was her one year birthday picture. I found this adorable pink dress that said Birthday girl and a matching princess crown and shoes! She looked so precious on her birthday!

I was hoping to see that tiger picture this week! I love that one. Maddie is just so adorable! I love all of her pictures! All of Taylor's birthday pictures were taken by someone else so I didn't want to try and take credit for them, LOL!

omg I found someone else from the Boise area! It was the Zoo photo that caught my attention. :-0 My hubby and I moved to Florida almost 3 years ago from Payette! Its nice to find someone from back home. I'm kinda missing it. Your Photos are great! You are doing an excellent job in photography. Your daughter is precious. I am also a Nikon gal I have a D-200. I just did a wedding on Friday, and it would have been so helpful to have a dslr instead of a point and shoot, lol. What is the optical zoom on the d60?
I am also curious to what editing program you use. I want to get photoshopt, but I am not sure how long it will take me to learn it.
